The oasis of Fint is a green place surrounded by rocks. Majestic date palms and orchards grow on the banks of the river that runs through it.
The origin of its name in Amazigh is “n’fint” which literally means “hidden”.
Fint is populated by an entirely Amazigh community known for its hospitality. Its first inhabitants lived in cave dwellings. The old village built on the side of a rock overlooking the river is now in ruins. The current houses are located along the winding river, which irrigates the plots of land cultivated by a modest peasant population.
The beauty of its nature and the friendliness of its inhabitants make the Fint oasis a haven of peace. Walks along the river, conviviality with the friendly villagers, resting under the palm trees, a panoramic view of the oasis… are moments of happiness to be experienced in peace in the Fint oasis.
There is a hotel restaurant and guest houses on site.
Today it is a popular tourist site.
